A small piece of string orchestra work reminiscent of Toru Takemitsu’s “Requiem for Strings” (1957). The layered sounds and their movements represents a harsh haze that shifts from night to non-night. Great care has been taken in the programmed automation data to not prevent “breathing”.
“Lento misterioso”, the speed and expression symbol, is aimed at composers and imaginary players.

武満徹『弦楽のためのレクイエム』を思わせるストリング・オーケストラの小品。層をなす音とその動きは、夜から夜でない時間へ移る厳しい幽けさをあらわしている。呼吸がうしなわれないようにオートメーションには細心の注意が払われている。
Lento misteriosoの速度・発想記号は、作曲者と架空の演奏者のために向けられた。
